   Every now and then, I attempt to wrap my mind around the UK.
   
   The United Kingdom is a country made up of four countries ("England":{https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Governance_of_England}, "Scotland":{https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_Government}, "Wales":{https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welsh_Government}, "Ulster / Northern Ireland":{https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Ireland_law}), but they share a common royal and a common legislature (Parliament) ... three of the four have their own legislatures with defined scopes of authority.
   
   The royalty also rules some surrounding islands ("crown dependencies":{https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crown_Dependencies}) not included in the UK, such as "the Isle of Man":{https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isle_of_Man_Government} (.im in TLDs), "the Bailiwick of Jersey":{https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jersey}, "the Bailiwick of Guernsey":{https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bailiwick_of_Guernsey}
   
   It is all sort of confusing. Much like local governments in New York State (though I presume that the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey probably have similar schemes of local government).

      The Bailiwick of Guernsey's TLD is .gg. The Bailiwick of Jersey's TLD is .je.
