I was one of the fortunate few getting several guaranteed weeks of Paid Time Off per year working for a large broadcasting network, but they nixed the program this year and from next year on we’re supposed to have “unlimited paid time off” which means “depends on your boss”. Again, fortunately I’m in good terms with my boss but I assume this is not an improvement for many of my co-workers, especially women or people of color who once more have to deal with potential biases.
