    I generally don't take part in programming language debates because most of them have to do with personal habit more than inherent strengths and weaknesses, but this criticism of the choice of a very implicit language for what is essentially banking contracts rings true to me. There's a good reason significant parts of current banking software is still written in COBOL, a very rigid language.
