    Microsoft doesn't seem to understand: When I choose which programs open which file types and my choice doesn't match "Microsoft recommended" choices, leave my computer alone.

    This time, it was "Photos" taking over .jpg & .jpeg. I already have something with an interface I'm familiar with ... and which isn't likely to change into something else on a whim.

      Reminds me of the last time I had to deal with rotten fruit software for managing audio files on devices, it took over everything related to multimedia. If reset to something else it would reset back to itself on start up. The same way a virus would...
