The agency says that by the summer of 2022, the only way to log in to irs.gov will be through ID.me, an online identity verification service that requires applicants to submit copies of bills and identity documents, as well as a live video feed of their faces via a mobile device.

      @geniusmusing The government has shown shocking incompetence at protecting employees' information. They (and their contractors) are not likely to better protect taxpayers' data, nor are they going to be quick to respond when crackers subvert this facial biometrics system and get billions of tax refund dollars sent to accounts in Belarus.

         Just for grins I went looking to see if they had any bug bounty programs running. Maybe they do but I found nothing.
         
         Maybe they figured out how to make bug free soft..... HAHAHAHAHA...
