>>>> I'm gonna say something on behalf of all guys. Valentines Day coming on the day after the SuperBowl is total bullshit. No way any guy can be expected to think about Vday till football season is over. Itβs ridiculous and setting all men up for failure.
>>> I'm grateful to have a husband who couldnβt give two shits less about sports and has already planned our Valentineβs Day together.

Also what's with the double-spacing after full stop? Is this a tweet or official GNU documentation?
-
That's probably someone who is old enough to have been taught typing in school. Double-space was required.

@LinuxWalt (@lnxw48a1) {3EB165E0-5BB1-45D2-9E7D-93B31821F864} I deleted the comment, because I'm not sure if it was an artifact of my browser or something. It's not visible on the page.

At some point I was taught double-spacing but you aren't supposed to on computers. Computers are supposed to take care of it.
But also, I don't personally care.

When I see it in monospaced text, which is where it shows very clearly, it's jarring to me.
I never trained in the typewriter age, so the first time I saw this mentioned at all was when reading the GNU documentation guidelines.
