      This discussion sort of got started because someone sent 64GiB of RAM to #Daddy_A, so he could use his computer for his new temp-to-hire job.

      He kicked off a processing job overnight and returned to find that it failed, likely because of insufficient RAM.
      
      So now, after surveying the field of laptops with 64GiB of RAM, he mentioned the https://frame.work/ laptops again.

         I went to the "Contact Support" page to ask whether AMD CPUs was a planned feature, but I couldn't get past reCaptcha.
         
         reCaptcha is normally blocked, and I didn't want to spend all day selectively unblocking domains to try to make reCaptcha work.

         2nd attempt succeeded. Or at least the pipeline completed. He said he can't manually view the resulting end-product on his Macbook, so he may end up turning it in as is and hoping it is usable.
