#sonTwo needed a better laptop for his side gig, so I walked down to Best Buy and ordered one. AMD Ryzen 9, 16GiB of RAM, 1TB SSD. Hopefully it will meet the need. It was expensive enough that I can’t buy another one if that one doesn’t work out.

  If he gets double the number of gigs, he’ll gross enough to cover the purchase price. But since he doesn’t have to cover the price, that’s more that can go toward the bills.

  "Framework":{https://frame.work/} had something roughly comparable, but with a 512GB SSD ... and Intel CPU & GPU. I am at the point where I am willing to pay extra to avoid Intel and nVidia, so that didn't fly.
