@lain @orthzar You can also get away with less of all those ressources if you run Erigon rather than Geth as your node. Also, the necessity of an archival node is overstated, unless you don't trust public block explorers or want to do research that involves working with past states of the chain. A pruned full node still validates all past and new transactions.
