    @dirb @roka @clacke @dt @dogjaw Why is federated chat (except in the rizon is federated sense) even a good idea? Makes a lot more sense to me that you have a single client that connects to multiple servers.

    I feel like the only reason you'd want to federate is because you are using a web client.

      Yes, the only reason RFC 822 defined server-to-server communication was that everyone back in 1982 were using webmail.
