      It pretty much tastes like pepsi. Maybe a little less acidic.
      
      I can see the appeal in the 90s though, as a marketing trick. I remember when I was a kid, the thinking in my family regarding sodas was like this:
      
      Brown soda = Has caffeine, bad for the kids, limit how much the kids drink, especially in the evenings
      
      Clear soda = No caffeine, okay for kids
      
      Of course, I wanted to drink Coke or Pepsi most of the times, but I couldn't. Maybe that perception was common and Pepsi thought they could sidestep it with Crystal Pepsi.
      
      Now, people are little wiser to the idea that caffeine could be in anything, with energy drinks coming in all colors.
