On initial meeting/first dates, women are allowed to talk about their interests for however long they want, no matter how much it bores you and you are not allowed to do the same until much later in the relationship unless they ask, just deal with it. Mention your interests and hobby so she knows you have them and that they're not upholstery with human skin, but don't dive in.
