    That is likely partly true. I think one thing that helps disinformation is a person's pre-existing beliefs. It is easier to convince someone that Bill Gates is injecting his own DNA into people's cells (to take a made up and extreme example) if they already resent being locked down and are already suspicious about injecting mRNA to vaccinate people.

      Also, people hate injustice, but they have widely varying ideas about what is unjust. I know the right wing think the left wing is just evil and the left wing feels the same about the right wing, but the truth is, they have DIFFERENT VIEWS about what constitutes injustice, and that informs most of their other beliefs.
