   On my #Android tablet, ManyVerse ( an #SSB client ) complains that it can't connect to any pubs. I had it connected to multiple pubs, but they appear to have closed. I don't know if it is worth seeking out a new batch.

      Honestly, I don't know whether the #IpadOS tablet would do the same thing. The last time it updated, it spun for 45 minutes while rebuilding the database and I've never gone back to it.

         Just tried it. Same result.

      @lnxw48a1 I tried SSB a few years ago after they presented at LibrePlanet. Even then I found the client too resource intensive. I'm usually running other people's discarded computers that I've refurbished, but that means my como

         That means my computers are at least four years old and way under-powered compared to new stuff.

         @bobjonkman I never tried it on a regular computer. I've only used the Manyverse mobile client. But it is very slow and takes forever to load, so I don't open it very often. And now that it has disconnected from the "pubs" that allow connection with other users, there is honestly little reason to keep it.
