Today’s lunch place had something similar to a buffet, with fried chicken 🍗, beef 🥩 stroganoff, cornbread, cheesecake, potatoes 🥔, green beans, and some other vegetables. Two people from another agency were eating at a neighboring table and they praised the food like Moses had brought it down from the mountain. But to me, it was not good.
The best thing was the cheesecake, and that was fairly generic tasting. The chicken was “y’all not from around heah, we gon’ give you some slop since you won’t be back” quality.
It’s a very small town and twelve minutes drive to the next town, so most people eat there.
