      Those comments! Wow!

Anyway, the article doesn't specify _how_ the new law improves third parties' ballot access, but I'm happy to see voters have better access to alternatives to the #twin_parties.

@LinuxWalt (@lnxw48a1) {3EB165E0-5BB1-45D2-9E7D-93B31821F864} makes the window to collect & signatures longer, dicreases the total number of signatures necessary, and allows more people to be eligible for signing petitions for new parties. www.arkleg.state.ar.us/Bills/D…

From what little I know about AR politics I would expect its because lawmakers are protecting for a third party run of Trump doesn't get the GOP nod in '24

@fu I'm just guessing, but I'd expect one of the objectives of the various prosecutions that are springing up in various places is to make #Trump ineligible for office. That would make a "Trump party" useless.

@LinuxWalt (@lnxw48a1) {3EB165E0-5BB1-45D2-9E7D-93B31821F864} yeah thats not going to happen. Especially as there is nothing national election law, but 51 seperate ones. If he were to win the electoral colleg and then th courts refused to seat him it would awful, unless you are hoping for bloody revolution. I hate to say it yhe best thing for the country would be for Trump to die. I dislike Biden nearly as much as I dislike Trump, but if Joe carred about America the best thing he could do is pardon Trump. And shortly after indicate he's not running for reelection.
