I also had the experience of seeing perfectly reasonable, moderate positions become "right-wing". In some cases, I shifted with society. In some cases, I haven't.

I'm also disappointed that we don't have anything like a "radical center wing" that loudly rejects ideas from both the right and the left wings when those ideas can be expected to lead to long-term harm. I think I'd agree more with such a movement much more than I do with either of the #twin_parties, the left-wing and right-wing, and ideas such as anarchy, libertarianism, degrowth, vegan advocacy, and more.
