For Palm Springs in #Riverside_County, peak temperatures: 114F today (2023-07-13), 118F tomorrow (2023-07-14), 120F Saturday (2023-07-15), 121F Sunday (2023-07-16), 118F Monday (2023-07-17). For the visitors center at Death Valley in #Inyo_County, it should reach 129F on Sunday (2023-07-17).

      Incidentally, the highest temperature ever recorded was 134F in Death Valley, #CA in 1913. There is some question as to whether that was an accurate measurement according to "Wikipedia":{https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_Valley}
