!Friendica Admins The Twitter connector is now refurbished. Since you cannot do anything else than posting anymore (if you don't want to pay), this is reduced to a posting connector. Also (due to the rate limits) each user has to register their own app and thus has to have a developer account at Twitter.

When you already have got an own app, please make sure that it isn't a "standalone app", but is part of a project, since you otherwise can't access the endpoints. I had some problems with the picture upload, that I couldn't really pin down (but seemed to be a local issue). Resizing the picture seems to help, but you might want to have an eye on this.

Also it now doesn't shorten the message anymore but instead creates threaded posts in Twitter.
