Why aren't RSS/Atom Contacts public?

!Friendica Support Recently a friend of mine was asking where I got my news. I recommended he look at the RSS feeds in my Friends list. I was surprised that none of those contacts where available publicly. Is this intended? I know I have purposely selected many to not show publicly, like most all of them I have created using kill-the-newsletter.com, but figured my friends would be able to browse what RSS i'm "friends" with so they could easily choose to follow them too.
