When replanting their forest, one company decided to have some fun. When planting a variety of trees, they decided to pattern the larch to form a smileyface among the Douglas fir. During summer it's all green, but in autumn the larch trees turn orange.
You don't need a helicopter to see it, it's on a slope and supposedly visible from the Oregon 18. I don't think the picture is taken from a there, the camera must be up in the sky.
