the existence of a few people with genocidal wishes on either side of this conflict shouldn't be much of a problem as long as such people aren't placed in positions of power, or get removed from them before they can do further damage. that would be an important part of any solution towards preserving innocent civilian lives that are being targeted by both groups in positions of power.
