         Looking up borosilicate beer tankards between 360 ml (12 oz) and 500 ml (17 oz).

         I just learned that a pint is 20 oz and almost 20% more than 500 ml.

            @clacke Only in that brand of containers. In the US, a pint is 16 fl. oz. and a quart is fl. 32 oz. A liter is about 33.8 fl. oz.

         The toothbrushes-spoons-and-clotheshangers shop a few minutes walk from here had a glass exactly like the one I broke. I bought two this time.

         A borosilicate pair will arrive some time next week.
