My nephew’s doctor discovered a congenital condition that could require surgery. He’s 32, so nearing the age (40) where they won’t operate because the surgery itself is often fatal.

I suspect that they will require him to lose weight before they will operate. He admits to being 100lb overweight. (Many heavy people shave a significant fraction off the number they acknowledge.)

Also: nephew brought his 8 month old son to visit. The child's facial features resemble the dad's deceased father's features.
