    #NOAA / #NWS: heavy rain due to thunderstorms. 1-1.75 inches has already fallen with 0.25 to 0.75 more expected. Will affect rivers, creeks, streams, other low-lying areas.

      I always remember the two brothers who were playing catch alongside the San Gabriel River. One brother fell in, and rescue efforts failed. His body washed up on a beach days later.
