There is a lake at the end of the street. This area of !SoCal did not get anywhere near the rain that the #Los_Angeles area got, but it is still a poor drainage zone.

The lake is shrinking, but still impassable for pedestrians. I've altered my daily walking path due to the water. There are two others along my normal daily path, but they are smaller and can be avoided by crossing over to the other side of the street. They are also shrinking, so if there's no rain for another day or two, I should be able to do the usual path again.

The water is drying up. I was able to cross each puddle on dry land.
