I was discussing KISS and learned that they disbanded not long ago.

I remember that Jonathan and Kelvin (whom I knew from school) had gone to a concert and became so obsessed that that's almost all they could talk about. Thereafter, I was already predisposed to like their songs.

I never went to a concert, and I pretty much stopped hearing their music after about 1980, except an occasional "Calling Dr Love" or "Rock and Roll All Night" played on the radio.
