I drove to Plattsburgh, NY today to see this still-functioning B-17 Flying Fortress bomber, as well as a B-25. They were offering rides for about $500 per person, but I settled for just crawling around inside while they were on the ground. Incredibly cramped in there. I'm in awe that people were able to function inside them while flying around and being shot at. I banged my head hafl a dozen times and it wasn't even in motion.
