we're long past the "honey" phase of the software enshittification cycle, when it comes to cloud (smoked?) computing services. honey bait has long started turning to poo as providers twiddle the settings to extract more value for themselves. many fell for the honey, but it was foolish to assume it would remain honey indefinitely.
