posting pictures of posts seems to be a relic of a dead billionaire-controlled network, brought over here for no good reason
we should probably cultivate the habit of asking people to post a link to the original post, just as we do of asking people for alt text (or, in this case, original text) for the picture. eventually people would start posting the post's text, and stop posting such pointless pictures of posts, that do nothing but clutter timelines with pictures with the wrong dark/light background
