years ago, I was having a very very bad day, and some stranger approached my car at a stop light playing the guitar and singing the beatles' blackbird. it was so beautiful and energetic that this magical moment dissipated the clouds in my troubled mind, and I enjoyed the music immensely. last night I was driving on the same street, stopped at the same light, and recalled that wonderful moment. it was very pleasant to relive it. thank you again, stranger! oddly, that memory got me to start singing another song by the beatles: penny lane. I sang it as I drove on last night, to take a path I'd never taken before. at some point I was at another stop light, I looked to my side and saw that at the corner there was a barber shop named penny lane! it felt fitting and surprising at once, a bit like a bug in the matrix.

I should have ended the upthread post with "very strange!"
