it's super cool :-) and it's way in line with the post-truth era we're in, the age of disinformation: it blew my mind to learn, a while ago, that "very" indeed has its roots in Latin veritas, truth, and suddenly the non-augmentative use of very as in "the very truth we're talking about" made sense. who cares about truth any more? :-(
