#smallstories Before we started our English faculty meeting, I turned to my commiseration buddy, Walker, and showed him my interlibrary loan book, Paul Smith's "You Can Find Inspiration in Everything". I shared that without ILL I would never be able to read this book. I told him that I have recommended ILL to my students for almost 15 years and had zero takers. He replied that a friend of his had just quit our library because it was like working in a "tomb". We sat transfixed, pinned like bugs.
