         Yo @ChrisWilson ITM right back at you. I was thinking of you and @weltini the other day after I got back from Santa Monica. On the Promenade they allow busking. A fella was playing away and someone came out of the crowd and started pushing him around. Ended up breaking his thin line Ovation guitar. Damn shame cuz they don't make them anymore. I think alcohol was involved. Getting weird out there...

            @YoVinnie that's a fucked up story. That's why I play bass. They build those things nice and solid. I have used mine more than once to dissuade any over zealous reaction to the music in my younger years

         Yo @PhoneBoy I've been using it today. So far, no problems. I like that it bypasses much of the guurgle bs. We'll see how it pans out. Easy enough to use.

            @YoVinnie @PhoneBoy I've been using Hooktube for about two months. The best part is the videos you load in through them get archived, therefore bypassing future censorship or take down of content by Google. The second best thing is instead of sharing YouTube links one can just replace the "You" with "Hook" in the URL and it will automatically make the YouTube video a Hooktube video. The third best thing is that one can still search around on Hooktube, just like YouTube.

      @YoVinnie Hey I need that ad revenue on my YouTube videos, they just need to improve monetization let people one-click to buy things mentioned in videos and let the people chose favorite product search for example if you prefer to buy from amazon prime it can mainly show you results on that. That would 10x income for content creators on YouTube. And it's ok if Google takes enough money to run the YouTube servers, it's the largest website bandwidth/storage in the world.
