        In principle, video game characters (footsoldiers especially) are effectively effigies designed to either tell a story, or simulate combat. I know they are not really people.

        I think violent video games can serve as a legitimate outlet for aggression, and I consider them useful for dealing with stress and other unpleasant states of mind.

        I shoot Nazis because I am playing a story featuring an excuse to do so, but I'm also getting back into FPS games.
