      Er Ist Wieder Da is a very good movie. It is funny, but it is not a comedy. And it is less and less funny as it moves along.
      
      Although I did laugh out loud near the end as I realized what a particular scene was reenacting. :-)
      
      The message is clearer than e.g. Natural Born Killers, although at the end maybe it's even a bit on the nose.
      
      The meta reference levels are very high, I assume even higher than in the book, because some things done simply wouldn't be very doable in a book.
      
      I do own the book basically since it came out, but apparently I don't read books, I merely buy them. :-)
