Wow! I'm going to have to do a lot of reading now. History Channel just claimed that Germany funded Lenin's revolution as a way to neutralize an opponent in World War I, so they could focus their resources against Western Europe.

I've occasionally heard stuff from them that I've never read anywhere else. It wouldn't surprise me if that were true though.

Remembering: My high school was in the 4th quintile by whatever method the state was using to rate schools. It was a point of pride among students that the crosstown rival school (which stomped our school in most sports) was in the fifth quintile.
