    @PhoneBoy If these 'shadow' simbox networks are easy to set up - how many might exist in the USA? If I was a private security firm I'd be sure to have the ability to deploy one in any major city.

    Hell they had something like this on that tv show #PersonOfInterest, or rather a drug dealer did and they co-opted it.

    It seems to me likely that many multiples might exist.

      @PakkonenCT every major police force can certainly deploy one…as can hackers. The hardware and software needed is easy enough to obtain.
