   Drifters is way too close to my perfect anime. "What if Hannibal Barca and Scipio Africanus commanded an army together?" "What if Oda Nobunaga founded a kingdom of fantasy creatures by rebelling against an evil human empire founded literally by hitler?" "What happens when you match Joan D'Arcy against a samurai?" All put together by my favorite manga author.

      The samurai in this case was historically a general (who survived the battle he died in in the show) but it's awesome regardless

      Hirano's trend of traps continues as well, but this time the trap is one of the heroes and not literally a nazi like schrödinger was. Makes me wonder if all the hentai comics he did before he struck it rich with Hellsing was straight...
