    tired: executives claiming that virtual loot crates are the only way in which to fund modern game development these days, especially high-profile productions.

    wired: collective ownership is good because the people working on games get paid what they're worth rather than have those same executives take the biggest cut

      inspired: free software is great because games are a cultural expression and no culture emerges from a vacuum, so we need to refill that well and let a thousand derivatives bloom rather than fencing in and charging admission to our little contribution to the greater community
