   @maiyannah For something to think about in a spare moment, as if you had a lot of them: Is there some change from GS made in postActiv that might keep the GNUSocial Autopost plugin from working?

      @jrmy There shouldn't be, but that plugin is not maintained and could have problems with newer software.  If you have error log information related to failures it might help debug them.

         @maiyannah The WP plugin info stated that it had been updated 3 months ago, so I took that as a good sign.

            @jrmy Are you keeping notes of which WP --> GS and GS --> WP plugins you try and your impressions of how well they work & how easy/difficult they are to get working?

               @lnxw48a1 This was the only one I tried. You saw the other one that was way out of date. @maiyannah mentioned error messages, but I don't know if there were any or where they'd be. Beyond my ken.
