    One difference between Pleroma and Mastodon that you still get when using the Mastodon UI is that the home timeline will show ALL posts of people you follow, even if they mention someone you are not following.

      @lain That was one of the reasons why there is not (yet) a Masto instance hosted by FNetworks. I've never been able to predict whether a given post will appear in my timeline, and I'm already overloaded -- no time to field support questions about why $POST is not visible -- in addition to managing a completely unknown stack in parallel to the mostly-known PHP-FastCGI stack.
