   http://tekk.in/bullshit/challenge.png a successful post from an #up server to a subscribed #social server. Something goes wrong in the subscription handshake and the two sides end up with different HMAC keys. As soon as that's fixed I'm all set.

      Figured it out: I was using the wrong parameter as the key for HMAC :)

      @tekk Did you ever say what #UP stands for? "Upper Peninsula" or "University Project" or "Unpublicized Program" or whatever?

         @lnxw48a1 Oh, up doesn't stand for anything. It's a program for pushing OStatus UPdates . Basically I needed a name for the project and "up" is a very short, very easy to remember 2 letter command which isn't take by any tool I know of.
