    To some extent, it’s because a project is exactly what I need at the time, but not just.

    How do you guys find out about the cool computer stuff? Random blog posts or toots? Is there a magazine that features the best projects? There should be one.

      @Tryphon I've been using alternativeto.net to find open source software but it only works if you know what you're looking for

      @Tryphon now mostly through research. Like just typing some words in the search bar of what I'm looking for, checking out the first view it shows up and then searching for alternatives or simliar projects.

      ...but also through toots of random conversations I follow up.
