Any slackware users here? I installed the latest version of slackware on my backup stationary computer just for fun but didn't fix a liks full disc encryption during install and found this https://ftp.sunet.se/mirror/slackware.com/slackware64-14.1/README_CRYPT.TXT a while later. Do I understand things correctly if it's easier to to a fresh install and follow the instructions rather then trying to set it up on an already installed (non lvm?) system?

@rtsn Yeah, it's easier to do a fresh install. I was a Slackware user, but I had a PC with little potence and got bored of compiling.

@drymer Ah thanks, that's what I gathered lurking in forums and irc, not looking forward to a reinstallation. May I ask what you switch to? I really get you though, while I really like messing around in slackware on weekends just for fun I would probably never stand to have it on my primary main computer.

I now use just debian. I wanted to automatize the deployment of my own PC with ansible, and if I wanted to do that I would have to develop a slackpkg and sbopkg ansible module. It was a lot of work, and since I recently use debian and work, I just went for the easiest path.
