   I read some stuff about some programming candidates not being able to 'write basic loops'. I wonder if I could still do it, I don't think I've used a loop for years.

      really?

      maybe I'm old fashioned... and there are many ways to skin the cat... but life would be more difficult without the loop concept, regardless how implemented.
