Just talked to Spectrum/TWC.  Apparently I am not supported for Telework-readiness by them and they would drop me as a customer if I tried.

@lnxw48a1 So far my position is still designated Telework-ineligible due to how insecure things are and how broken the VPN is anyhow.

@alpacaherder 15-20 years ago, some areas had telework centers, where people could pay a per-day fee for relatively speedy INET and a space to work. I think most are gone, because normal home ISPs should provide sufficiently fast & reliable connections.

@lnxw48a1 My ISP is being network neutral by now deciding that no residential customer needs IPv6 access to *anything* for *any* reason.

@alpacaherder Makes me glad #Charter / #Spectrum did not serve my street back in 2015. #Verizon was sucky, but #Frontier has been much better.

@lnxw48a1 If we do anything further related to Telework Enhancement Act of 2010 (telwork dot gov) at $BUREAU, I will be verily screwed.
