   The hurricane took out the power at our house, so we are staying at my girlfriend's parents place. They are glued to CNN.

   My girlfriend has strictly forbidden me from bringing up Anderson Pooper's ties to the CIA, the Clinton Body Count, anything Trump related, or any conspiracy theories.

   I'm slowly dying inside.

      I just agree, and when something egregious comes up, ask a simple innocent question that shows the cognitive dissonance. Then watch their faces contort.

      Say things like, "but they covered that on The Onion. It was much funnier when they told the story"
