Tried to sign up to loadaverage.org but never figured out the captcha instructions. Weird. -

@jrmy Did you also try the Twitter (if you have one) sign-in method? It worked for me once, but somehow i had to manually make an account first. -

@freyo Thanks for the suggestion. I have a Twitter account, but didn't want to associate a GNUSocial account with it. I might want to get rid of Twitter eventually. -

@jrmy I tired to see what the problem was and i understand that you need to register with the email at first. Then it is sending a code for which they asked you to use their respective letters for each codes sent. It isn't with Twitter i saw! -

@freyo Yes, I did the email registration. Then tried the captcha three times. I consider myself a somewhat intelligent person. But after three tries with the captcha, I gave up. -

@jrmy Did it work like this for ex: AXCVS POSNV KIXNE for the third letters of each code set? -

@freyo Yes, and usually three sets of letters. But with spaces, or not? Nothing I tried worked. -

@freyo Didn't he turn it over to someone else? -

@jrmy Nope he is the new guy now. The other guy is who left that site. -

@freyo Gotcha. I was thinking it was somebody in the UK or US who had taken over. My mistake. -

@jrmy As @freyo said, I'd suggest you contact @xrevan86 for assistance with the #LoadAverage registration process. #CAPTCHA sometimes better at keeping out real people than bots.

@lnxw37b1 @lnxw48a1 @lnxw37a1 @freyo @xrevan86 I confess to feeling terribly lazy about it. -

@jrmy The admin says receiving the e-mail is essential to completing the CAPTCHA. Did you check your spam folder?

@lnxw37a1 @xrevan86 If I got to the captcha, that means that I received the email and clicked on the link. That wasn't the problem. It was the instructions on inserting the characters into the captcha field that were not clear. -

@jrmy I wrote that the other day but I didn't cast properly: I made a new captcha on loadaverage.org, should be a lot more passable :-). -

@xrevan86 OK, thanks very much for the note. I'll try it again at some point.
