Adam Curry@aighead Good question. Yes, sometimes I will be previewing a clip while we're talking. Usually during the donation segment, where I am always working ahead, I'm reading the spreadsheet ahead of JCD, when I see a request that I'm unsure of (like an older jingle or song parody) I will listen to it on the cue speakers while holding down my mute pedal so it doesn't bleed through the noise gate into the mic and on the show. I'm also paying (some) attention to JCD at the same time.
